NewDay successfully supported SWACO/NewDay Home of Songea, Tanzania, which served as a temporary home for 15 orphans. Our generous donors helped provide food, clothing, shelter, education and medical care for the children while funding was secured for the construction of a permanent orphanage, as well as for the ongoing care of the orphans. Generous corporate donors and a private foundation will now oversee the project and ensure that Jenifer, Gaudensia, Noela, Nuru, Cosma, Kalista, Agnes, Mariam, Simon, Majuto, Bonifas, Julius, Fadhili, Festo, and John will receive the care and attention they deserve in their new home.
